Protect What Is Sacred

Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is precious to God, and precious things deserve protection. A covenant can be weakened by what a couple repeatedly allows between them—contempt, secrecy, divided loyalties, careless boundaries, or constant neglect. Protection begins by treating the relationship as sacred rather than ordinary.
Guarding your marriage does not mean isolating yourselves or pretending everything is fine. It means being honest about what threatens trust and making wise choices together. Protect your time, your intimacy, your private conversations, and the emotional space that belongs to your spouse.
Protecting what is sacred never means hiding abuse or remaining unsafe. Truth, wise counsel, and appropriate help honour God. Healthy protection creates an atmosphere where both spouses can be respected, heard, and secure.
